What time does the music start?
Our bands start at 12 noon sharp. We pride ourselves on a "on-time schedule". The 1st act is always worth it.

Do you have Craft Vendors?
You bet. We have vendors offering lots of cool stuff, and they are located next to the stage so that you don't
miss a beat of the blues while you shop.

What should I bring?
We have a certain amount of picnic tables, and many places to sit, but you may want bring folding chairs or
blankets to grab a space on the lawn area

Is there food and drink?
Yep. We have food vendors that will be selling lots of goodies like pizza, barbeque, etc. All these vendors will
offer sodas or water for purchase as well.
There is no alcohol available in the festival

May I bring alcohol?
No. The Delta Blues Festival is an alcohol-free event.

As much as we love them, there are no pets allowed at the DBF.

Can I meet the artists?
Sure you can. We have a section right next to the stage where all acts are invited to greet the public. We will
even have DBF posters for
sale ($1) that you can have all the acts sign.

Where do I park?
There is lots of free parking around the DBF. Lots.

What do I wear?
The Autumn weather is usually wonderful; warm in the day and a little chilly at night. Throw a jacket in the
car, and if you need it, you'll have it.

Are there places to go afterwards?
Sure there are. There is the El Campanil Theatre
that usually has a national comedy competition. The Red Caboose will have a blues jam after the festival is over, and a new downtown restaurant Bases Loaded is a new pub in town, just 4 blocks away. For more info, here is

How do I be considered for Entertainment for the Next Festival?
We review submissions every January through March. Electronic submissions are perferred and given high priority. YOUtube is GREAT and hearing your music from the web is a must. We look at BIO photos and photos of shows, tour dates, and for experience. Hard-copy submissions are considered but will take a back seat to electronic entries. Hard-copy packages may be sent to:
